COURSE DESCRIPTION

Raagu workshop aims to teach the participants how to recite the Quran according to maqaamaath. As prophet instructed us to beautify the Quran with our voices, this programme will train you to use your voice to the fullest of your ability in reciting the Quran. Important techniques, and voice training are given to the students in a very closed and curated setting. By the end of this workshop series the students shall have a profound knowledge of maqaamaat and would be able to recite the quran in any "raagu" of his choice. The workshop comes in series where each Maqaamaath is studied in depth.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(1) The students must be 12+ years of age

(2) The student must be a female
